Where is my data stored?
In your own private iCloud — your personal Apple account — via Apple's CloudKit. Bun has no servers of its own, so your journal never passes through us: no one on the Bun team can see or read it, and nothing is shared with third parties. Only you can reach it, and it syncs across the devices signed into your iCloud. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual sessions in the app and they are removed from your iCloud and every device. Because your journal lives in your iCloud, deleting the app alone won't erase it — clear your sessions first, or remove Bun's data in your iCloud settings.
Does Bun work offline?
Yes. Bun is local-first, so recording, transcription, and the on-device companion all work without a connection — your changes sync to your iCloud once you're back online.
Is Bun medical advice?
No. Bun is a journaling companion, not an advisor, and never gives medical, legal, or financial advice. For health questions, please talk to a qualified professional.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings → Membership in the app, or tap Restore on the upgrade screen.
